Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)
A digital framework that stores and manages academic credits earned by a student across institutions, enabling credit accumulation, transfer and multiple entry and exit.
Functioning like a bank for credits rather than money, the ABC lets students leave and re-enter higher education and combine credits from multiple sources toward one qualification. It is a core enabler of flexible degree structures introduced under policies such as India's NEP 2020.
