A US-based accreditation body for engineering, computing, technology and applied-science programs, and a signatory of the Washington Accord.

ABET accreditation is programmatic rather than institutional, certifying specific degree programs against outcome-based standards. Because ABET is a Washington Accord signatory, its accredited engineering degrees are recognised as substantially equivalent across other member nations.
