Entrance & Admissions

A standardised test used to select and rank candidates for admission to a program or institution, especially where demand far exceeds available seats.

Prominent examples include JEE and NEET in India, the SAT and ACT in the United States, and the GRE and GMAT for graduate study. Entrance exams are usually followed by a counselling or admission-offer process.
