Institution Types

A collective term for organisations that provide post-secondary education leading to degrees, diplomas and advanced qualifications.

The category includes universities, colleges, institutes of technology and specialised professional schools. HEIs are the primary units evaluated by ranking frameworks and accreditation bodies.
